A brand story isn't the paragraph on your About page. It's the sentence your whole business can repeat.

Most companies already have a story worth telling. The founder knows it, the first customers felt it, and the work proves it every week. What's usually missing is the version everyone else can say out loud: sales, support, the new hire, the website, the next post.

In this session we take the story out of the file and give it a shape the business can actually work with. Brand is a system, not a deliverable. The story is where that system starts.

II · The session

One hour, one method, one outcome: a brand story your business can actually speak.

The idea

What a brand story is actually made of

  1. The value you bringWhere every story worth repeating starts.
  2. The founder momentThe one you already have, and probably undersell.
  3. The promiseThe line your whole business can keep.
  4. The proofLess of it than you think. The right kind.
The process

How we'll work through it, live

  1. UnderstandHearing your own story for the first time.
  2. DefineGiving it a structure that holds.
  3. DesignTurning it into language.
  4. AdoptThe step most brands skip.
What you'll leave with

Behind the story

01

A one-page story skeleton

Your skeleton, filled in

Value, moment, promise, proof. Four lines you fill in during the session, on your own company.

Keep it next to every brief. If a piece of content can't point to one of the four lines, it isn't yours yet.

02

The three defining questions

Answers you can reuse

Who it's for, what it claims, what it leaves out. We answer them live so you hear how the story tightens.

Use the same three questions on every new page, pitch or campaign to check it still speaks the brand.

03

The "belongs / doesn't belong" filter

A filter for the AI era

The easier content becomes to produce, the more it matters to know what belongs to your brand. We build the filter together.

Hand it to whoever writes for you, human or model. It's the shortest brand guideline you'll ever ship.

04

The founder-story structure

Your own version, told well

How to tell the turning point without a hero arc or a humblebrag. One real moment, and what changed because of it.

An About page, a bio and a first slide that all tell the same story, at three lengths.

05

A proof checklist

Proof that carries the claim

What counts as evidence for a brand claim, what only looks like it, and how to choose two examples instead of twenty.

Case notes, decisions and outcomes you can verify, lined up behind each line of the story.

06

The adoption test

The morning after

A simple way to check whether a story has actually been adopted: can someone who wasn't in the room say it, and mean it?

Run it on your team in a week. Where it holds, the story is working. Where it doesn't, you know what to build next.

In her words

I started in 2013 designing identities. It didn't take long to realize that the questions before the design mattered more than the sketches themselves.

Working later with large digital platforms taught me something else: a brand has to work across screens, messages and systems, not just in a logo.

Then came the lesson that changed how I work. I built a strong brand that stayed in the file. The design was finished. Adoption wasn't.

Lionwave grew from that experience: a brand isn't successful when it's delivered. It's successful when the business can actually speak it. This session is the first chapter of that work, the story, taught the way I run it with clients.

Before you ask

Q&A

Who is this session for?

Founders, CEOs and marketing leads of companies that have already built something real, and whose brand now has to work across people, products and touchpoints, not just look right. If you're earlier than that, you're welcome too; the method scales down.

Is it recorded?

Yes. Everyone who registers gets the recording, whether or not they attend live. The live version is better for one reason: the three questions get answered on your company, in the room.

Do I need to prepare anything?

One sentence about what your company does, the way you'd say it to a stranger. That's all. Bring it as it is; we'll work from there.

Is this a sales webinar?

It's a working session. At the end we'll say in one line what Lionwave does, Brand Audit, Brand System, Brand Adoption, and leave it there. If it's relevant to you, you'll know.

What's the Lionwave approach, in short?

Brand is a system, not a deliverable. A brand doesn't end at design; it starts working when the whole business can speak it. The story is where that begins, which is why it's the session we open with.
